Dr. Eric A. Arp specializes in podiatric foot and ankle surgery. A graduate of the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Arp completed a surgical residency at St. Mary's Hospital in Hobart, Indiana.
Board-certified in foot surgery, Dr. Arp has been on the staff at Baxter Regional Medical Center since 1996. His professional affiliations include the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and Diplomate, American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Arp specializes in medical and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle with special interest in minimally invasive heel pain treatment, tendon and ligament reconstruction, diabetic foot and ankle problems and treatments, and advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. He has achieved certifications in trauma of the foot and ankle, internal and external fixation for the foot and ankle, and foot and ankle arthroscopy.
Additionally, Dr Arp is proud to provide a physician fitted Medicare Therapeutic Diabetic Shoe program designed for proper fit and long term wear of proper footcare, leading to a marked decrease in the rate of ulceration in diabetic patients who are actively monitored in this program.
